Georgia Skincare and Aesthetic Dermatology

Dr. Campbell came to us with the need for a centralized facility near Athens, GA, that could accommodate his growing dermatology practice and Mohs surgical needs. We designed a state-of-the-art clinic that included eight dedicated Mohs exam rooms positioned directly adjacent to an on-site lab for surgical efficiency, along with six standard clinical exam rooms and private pod areas for physician assistants and providers. A separate cosmetic exam room was added to support aesthetic services. On the left wing of the building, we designed a full ambulatory surgery center (ASC) that met state-specific requirements—including a separate entrance and waiting room, clean corridors, pre-op and recovery units, three exam rooms, and two large procedure suites.

The exterior architecture set the standard for an entire development, showcasing a craftsman style with brick and stone detailing, sealed cedar beams, dormers, and a mansard roof. A covered 30-foot drive-through canopy allows for easy patient drop-off, while a gabled rear porch and spacious staff room provide comfort and retreat for the clinic team. We also designed the right wing for future expansion, and several years later, Dr. Campbell returned to complete that vision—adding six more exam rooms and expanded storage.
